Andy Shernoff: vocals, bass Keith Streng: vocals, guitar Paul Johnson: vocals, guitar Bill Milhizer: drums, percussion, vocals Once there was a plan.... hatched during the late-hours of a brainstorming session between ANDY SHERNOFF and KEITH STRENG, two masterminds of New York City rock & roll. Perhaps it was destiny. Two mates from Queens, New York who over a quarter century ago each dedicated himself to playing rock & roll. One with The Dictators. The other with The Fleshtones. Often have their paths crossed over the years, from beneath the dim lights of the Bowery to the romantic lights of Europe, and now it is time to join forces. The Master Plan. A band whose destiny was colossus. The Master Plan is rounded out with PAUL JOHNSON, guitarist in Waxing Poetics and more recently the sound guru behind the boards at the late, lamented Compactor recording studio, and drummer BILL MILHIZER, who's long steadied The Fleshtones' brand of Super Rock. The songwriting is divided three ways between Shernoff, Streng, and Johnson. A bit of rootsy-ness, a swig of booziness, and a blast of fun from The Hop. Playful rock & roll with a serious attitude. Make no mistake: this "side project" had to happen, and the boys are in the hands of destiny. "We're basically a bunch of friends playing in a garage band," says one of them. The Master Plan. Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
